Library of Things
The Allens Hill Free Library is developing a collection of tools, kits, and other useful objects, available for checkout by anyone with an OWWL Library card. These items must be picked up from and returned to the Allens Hill Library. See below for what is currently available. KNITTING NEEDLES AND CROCHET HOOKS
We now have knitting needles and crochet hooks that can be checked out, along with a give and take yarn basket. If you've ever wanted to try knitting or crochet, you can now do so without spending a penny. Or, if you're looking for a particular size of needle for limited use, come by and see what we have.
HOMESTEADING KITS
Homesteading kits are now available for checkout! We have a soap making kit, a dyeing kit, and canning kit. Note that the kits contain equipment only and do not include any dyes, soap making oils or lye, or - for that matter - any cucumbers or tomatoes to be canned.
